Puking Love..
Love is in the air,
Love is everywhere,
Love is a feeling,
That does not go anywhere.
Its hidden somewhere inside us,
Once found it changes the world.
This is not just my feelings. I hope those of you who have ever loved or are in love at this moment of time must have gone through this feeling. I could have filled the whole page (rather whole Web) defining LOVE, but then also some or the other feeling would have missed.
After getting recruited in Infosys, I forgot that I had to go back to the college also. Someone reminded me of exams by texting me and so I had to leave for the college immediately. Reached the bus-stand, bought a ticket and sat in the bus. Some aunty came asking for a double seat for her husband and her and I had to shift to the triple seat side. I have always prayed God to make my trips memorable by sending some bombshells in the bus. Even if she takes another seat, I can shift near her by making some funny excuses. But my prayers are still in the queue. I have the shittiest luck in any case, whether it is a train, a bus or a plane. Its kids rather than those bombshells who have always accompanied me in the longest of journeys I have ever gone through.
It’s a kind of advantage traveling with kids because sometimes they may offer you a joint seat If you are traveling with wait list tickets or have no reservation at all (sorry Laalu because after Mamta’s reign I haven’t travelled much). The parents offer you various food items and a luncheon like me can’t refuse to anything offered (even though warnings are displayed).
So this time also (as usual) there wasn’t any girl in the bus and the conductor shifted me to the front seat (near himself). I sat there and was listening to my I-Pod. I was tired like hell due to the 3 sleepless nights (2 in pressure and 1 in excitement). I didn’t know when I got asleep. But this sleep was short lived. The vibrating Devil doesn’t allow you take any kind of rest (There was a time when I wanted people to hear my L6’s ringtone and now it just vibrates..Haha). My friends called me up to congratulate me and asking about the interview (Thanks to the blog that my cassette needs no rewinding now).
5 different songs, some Marwari, Hadoti, fighting etc. etc. were all happening around. Everything was so subtle, so peaceful (unlike the bus environment). I just loved every event that time. But suddenly
Arey…Arey…… Uth jaldi Uth… Bhaisahab meri beti ko ulti aa rahi h (My daughter wants to puke). Khidki nahi khul rahi h (Windows are not opening..The same old bus..). Jaldi se bus rukwao (stop the fucking bus!).
I opened the window of my seat, jumped and picked the little kid from the seat and made her sit beside me rubbing her back. I don’t know what happened to me. A sudden caring sense got over me. She sat near me with her head out of the window for about an hour in the same posture. But there was no puking. It was really cold and I was wondering how a kid could stand to such cold breezes for an hour or so. I looked at her mother who was sitting quite comfortably with the rest of her kids (She was sleeping actually). Just out of curiosity, I asked the little girl whether she really wanted to puke.
To my amazement she said,” No.” That time I felt like someone has played with my feelings. But what I could have done? As I closed the window, I saw her tilting towards me and then she slept with my arm as her pillow. All the grit I had went off in a second. Her mother saw me and smiled and I smiled back at her. I said,” What an Idea Sirji..”. She slept on my hand for the rest of the journey and I could not move from there for a second (had to wait 3 long hours for peeing).
I don’t know why but I was very happy as I came out of the bus (Pee was not the only reason). Sometimes life takes you to roads which you never expect or ever think to take. It’s a game called Life and I am playing it as it is coming to me. Don’t know what emotions I had at that time. It’s all about love. Love someone and you also will come to know that each and every part of this universe is as lovable as you yourself are. Just try and love. The feeling is not lost still. It comes to you with different types of incidents, accidents and events. I am really in love and I don’t mind telling her again and again.
But that time it was different and it was Puking Love....

Nuts @ INFOSYS.......
It is my pleasure to inform all my blog readers and lovers that your very own Nuts has been placed with India's Largest IT major INFOSYS. So now I have some important work other than boring you guys with my blog.
Someone just told me that your life is complete now as you now have a Job, a girl and u haven't yet finished your college. What more do you want from your life (After all it is always humans to want more.)
The process began in Kota with registration, a PPT (which many people confuse as power point presentation which actualy is a Pre Placement Talk), written exam and then an Interview. Once you are able to cope up with all these, you get though INFOSYS(Dont Mind the CAPS..)
I got through the written exam which had 2 parts:
1)Reasoning Test (Syllogism, Figures, data sufficiency, logical deductions)
2)English Proficiency Test (Sentence correction, 2 passages, Fill ups, Inference)
RS Agarwal's Verbal and Non-Verbal reasoning book would be enough for that (Although I didn't touched that). I solved Shakuntala Devi's Puzzle Book just to get a feel. Nothing else is needed. A study of 4-5 hours is sufficient.
The main part which needs to be cleared is your written exam. Interview is just a routine check-up like round. Though they do not select some people but maximum are selected. Interview is the most interesting part in any company's recruitment process (If you reach there). People with diverse backgrounds checking you on diverse topics (I am loving it.)
So here is the whole INFOSYS interview which I gave to a huge, tall, red turbaned and white bearded Sardar. I will call him Pappe. So lets begin the journey:
Nuts: May I come in Sir?
Pappe: Yes, my son..
Nuts:(Goes in and sits without asking and looks at him with a broad smile)Yes, Sir.
Pappe: Who told you to sit?
Nuts: (Laughing) Sor.. sooorrr... soooorrrryyyy sir...Hehe.
Pappe: (confused) Why are you laughing so much?
Nuts: This is what happens when you are selected for INFOSYS interview....hehe...
Pappe: Ohh!! (Laughs) Over excited fellow.
Nuts: Yes, sir.
Pappe: (Looking at my CV and form) Your father is in UCO Bank, brother in ICICI
bank and bhabhi in Suzlon, so why Infosys?
Nuts: Global vision sir. Entrepreneurial freedom is all what I want.
Pappe: Okay. Got you. U have so many GK awards. How do you keep yourself updated?
Nuts: Its very easy sir. I discuss everything with my father and brother. That
keeps me updated far better than internet and newspapers. Its a kind of
legacy passed on to me.
Pappe: (After deep thoughts) Richest NRI?
Nuts: (Got him) Mr. Laxmi Niwas MITTAL (emphasized the surname). The steel king.
Pappe: Some relations??
Nuts: (Ha! All HRs are same) No sir.
Pappe: U have traveled from Kota?
Nuts: No sir. From Ajmer.
Pappe: You are an electrical engineer.
Nuts: Going to be one in 6 months sir.
Papper: Differentiate between a motor and a pump?
Nuts: (Ringa Ringa roses, pocket full of..... going all around) A pump is a
motor's general name sir.
Pappe: Not convinced with your answer Mr. would be LN Mittal.
U can't fool an old Electrical Engineer.
(Asked about oil testing lab, transformer oil and blah blah blah)
Nuts: (What the Fuck! No more technical please) Well....
Pappe: How do you plan your studies?
Nuts: Actually I try to retain whatever is taught to me in the class. So I need no
planning. Time tables are already planned. And then you never know what will
happen to you the next moment (A white lie for sure..)
Pappe: Good man. So which was the last movie you saw and when?
Nuts: 3 Idiots Sir. Yesterday.
Pappe: (Astonished) Yesterday?? You were not preparing for this?
Nuts: I was all set for this sir. Just refreshed myself.
Pappe: What three things you learnt from it?
Nuts: 1) Pursue for excellence.
2) Spontaneity
3) Optimism (All is well)..
Pappe: Hmmmm.(Some GK quetions but remember that knowledge is never general..)
How do you get time for your extra activities? Do you write?
Nuts: (There you go! Caught ya) If you love to do something, then time comes out
naturally for that. I love writing. I blog and I have started writing my
own book of life.
Pappe: (Big sleepy eyes)And what will be its title?
Nuts: That you have to wait and watch sir. Buy a copy and make me rich.
Pappe: Any questions for me?
Nuts: Yes sir. (asked two questions to which he couldn't give satisfactory answers)
Pappe: Hope to see you in the future. BTW do you have a passport? Ready to settle
abroad?
Nuts: Yes sir I have a passport but I cant settle abroad (Swades WE THE PEOPLE..)
Pappe: (Sigh of relief) Thank you son.
Nuts: The pleasure was mine sir..
The results were declared after 2 grilling hours. When I heard my name, I couldn't control my emotions. I was so happy that I cried. I think this says a lot. Its obviously a feeling which can't be put to words. But yes, there is something called God for sure.
Just think of the smiling faces of your loved ones when you are appearing for any exams. This is what I did. Just think how happy will they be once you get selected. And then give it your best shot. No one can stop you in any field (Ha! I am good at philosophy also).
Just be cool and calm. Don't laugh like me at your mistakes. I was a lucky fellow that I got through. Thanks to Pappe. He created history(First student of college from first batch of electrical branch to get placed) by selecting me and so its NUTS @ INFOSYS..
Nuts....:)

Pranky Project
I didn't expected 2010 to be so eventful in the very beginning. Submissions in college and life (love actually) went on simultaneously. Never thought that I would express my feelings in this way, but I did.
Searching for numbers in the Devil can be quite tiresome if you have nicknamed a person and you forget what nickname you gave. It tool me around 10 minutes and finally I my search came to an end at Jhandu.
Nuts: Wasss up Dude?
Jhandu: Bol be Mittal. Kya hua? (What happened?)
(I dont know who stole his enthu)
Nuts: What about our project? When do we have to submit it?
Jhandu: Tomorrow. I will be going to Chawla today(He meant tonight).
Nuts: (getting the signal) Okay. We'll submit it tomorrow. Be ready at 11.
This project of mine will be remembered as a milestone in history. It took around 15 days to finish up and what I found in the end was a permanent buzzing buzzer. Sometimes the project worked in a completely opposite sense. The buzzer buzzed whenever it ought not to. Putting all things in simple words I can say that our project went to a trip and got drunk. It acted the way it wanted while we were there to control it.
I am very much afraid of my HOD and I am kind of frightened whenever she's around. But as it is very rightly said that "Necessity is the mother of invention", I just thought of the prank I used to perform in the hostel.
I kept Jhandu out of it and we reached the college in style. We had the biggest looking project. Before the Doom's day meeting, I took the project to a nearby plug and switched it ON. And what the F! The lights went off in a bang. The wire shorting trick always works. It was my time now. We took it to the HOD and then what happened is history.
Nuts: Good morning mam! We are here with our project before the deadline.
HOD: Switch it on. Tell me how it works.
(She has never given a reply to my Wishes)
Nuts: (Plugs in the socket.) Oh! There is no power. What do we do now?
I have a class in 10 minutes.
HOD: (Devilish face)When will the light come?
Nuts: (Knowing that it takes 15 minutes to turn the Gen Set On.)
How would I know that mam? I think its the cut that was announced.
Can we just tell you how it works orally?
We have already demonstrated a major portion of it before.
HOD: (After a long pause) Okay. Tell me.
And then we finished explaining the project to her within that 15 minutes deadline.
She was convinced by the major talks by me and told me to get the Certificate signed tomorrow and bring the project again. But this time I was quite relaxed as I knew what to do to fool her. I went today and performed the same short circuit wiring and I think she got a clue today (Why the hell does light go off 5 minutes before you come to meet me?). But how would I know about it? She signed the certificates without much ado.
I didnt wanted to fool her(hehe) but conditions were like that. Its dangerous but doing engineering in Electrical helps a lot. There was some risk of getting caught if someone would have just pulled the MCB switch up. But I knew no one will think like that. So it was kinda risk which paid off and that too well. Remember people "No risks, No accompalishments."
So what are you waiting for. Go Engineers go. Make some pranky projects.

Glimpses of 2009
Years have always went past,
Years will come and go,
Would I be the same saint,
Or someone lost long ago??
Being poetic is fun sometimes (actually always). Starting with a poem and moving on in life to a further stage called Blogging.
I have begun writing the story of my life. I don't know when will it get published. But it will someday, for sure.
Thanks to the so many new relations and friends who have supported me always. I never thought that I could write but now I can challenge Archer and Rowling (Wait and watch people). The credit goes to someone who has never commented on any post of mine. (I don't know why she doesn't).
An year so short and long at the same time. I wanted some moments to remain forever while some to never revert back. Success and Happiness are short lived for sure. But you have to thrive for excellence all time.
Some events changed my whole life. I still can't understand the feeling which I have for those events. (Don't ask me)
Long lasting memories with friends and foes, fights and fun at various places, frightening people and Fully Faaltu Dhamaal at Farji dinners won't be forgotten.
I tasted both cakes of failure and success at the same time. Won many hearts but lost some at the same time. I will try and win them back again.
Found a new feeling called Love (My God! Its really great.). People say that I express very well. But what the F! I am still unable to tell her what I feel(And By God! I think she knows because there are times when I have expressed feelings by using the 7th sense).
2009 showed me all emotions like Love, betrayal, hate, envy, win, lose and blah blah blah. I seriously didn't meant what I said at many times. People might get you wrong if you are an expressive person with well coordinated expressions for each word and thought that you convey. Sorry If I have hurt someone.
Software glitch (F you CAT), swine flu testing (Its a horrifying feeling), uncleared cut-off (3 marks), losing the Ceasar's cut and the Indian army case (Lt. Col. Nuts signed out) were some of the setbacks. These setbacks have really helped me in overcoming a lot of things. Failures can be good too.
Celebrated the best Birthday ever without a party. Thank you guys. May you be there with me all the times because my life has just begun.
Spent quality time with 2 of my bestest friends in Kota. I Really miss them a real lot (Love you both).
Some promises are always unbroken. So no new promises for the running year. A roof-top party, paper dance, crackers and loud music started the year 2010. It was great fun. Then a movie with my sister in which I cried like hell. But now "All Is Well."
Years have always went past,
Years will come and go,
Would I be the same saint,
Or someone lost long ago?
I have learned from you,
I have laughed with you,
I have cried with you,
I have danced with you,
I am somewhere stolen a small part of you.
My life is a blend,
Of all your life's bends.
Thank you everyone for being there,
Saving my life from becoming a doctrinaire.
These are just the glimpses. Wait for the story.
